Ralph Galati shares how his organization’s passion for helping Veterans continues to inspire communities to connect and support individuals transitioning into civilian life. Listen in as Laura and Ralph discuss the importance of written and verbal communication skills in leaders, understanding the unique language of military personnel, and how to communicate via a chain of command. Ralph also reveals the issues surrounding Veteran employment and how you can help Veterans in your own community.

Ralph Galati was the Founder and former Director of the Office of Veterans Services at St. Joseph’s University – his alma mater. The office was responsible for: Developing and implementing Small Business & Entrepreneurship Training Programs for veterans; Coordinating campus-wide programs for veterans and dependents; and Designing Career Development initiatives for veterans.

Ralph is currently retired, but continues to work on Veterans issues: with JDog Brands as a Strategic Advisor; as Executive Director of the JDog Foundation; and as a Board Member of the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association, and the Delaware Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross.
